Noah only saved his "family"!
The Quran reveals that Noah's dear son was not saved from the flood! When Noah's son separated from the believers and tried to take refuge on a mountain, big waves swallowed him, separating him from his father and the believers.
After the ship was grounded on Cûdi, Noah happened to ask Allah about this, but Allah commanded that his son was not among his family and warned Noah not to be of the ignorant. The true family of Noah is not of blood, but of mentality and faith!

It was revealed to Noah that: "No one other than those who had believed before is going to believe. From now on, do not worry for their deeds."

He was building the ship. When any group from his society passed by, they ridiculed him. Noah said: "If you are ridiculing us, we shall also ridicule you. Just like you have fun now."
"You will soon know who the humiliating torment, the torment which fully does what is necessary, shall come for."
Finally, when our order came and the furnace boiled, We called that: "Load inside two couples from each and, except for the one against whom there is a decree, your family and those who believed, too." But together with Noah, very few had believed.
Noah said: "Get inside! Both its streaming and anchoring are with the name of Allah. My Lord is certainly Gafûr/forgiving, Rahîm/merciful."
The ship was taking them over the waves as big as mountains. Noah called to his son, who stood at a separate place from them: "My dear son, get on with us, do not be with the infidels!"
His son replied: "I will take refuge on a mountain. It can protect me from the water." Noah said: "Other than that for whom Allah shows mercy, there is no one to be protected from Allah's decree today." And wave entered between them, he joined those who drowned.
And it was told: "Oh earth! Swallow your water, and oh sky, hold!" And water retreated. The job was finished. The ship grounded on Cûdi and it was called: "Let that society of the tyrants/oppressors/ignorant not return!"
Meanwhile, Noah prayed to his Lord and said: "My Lord, my son was among my family! Your promise is certainly true. You are the most beautifully deciding of the judges!"
Allah commanded: "Oh Noah! He was not among your family. What he did was not a good deed. Do not ask the thing you do not have knowledge about. I warn you not to be of the ignorant."
Noah said: "My Lord! I take refuge in you for the thing I don't have knowledge about. If you don't forgive me, don't show me mercy, I would be of the disappointed."
It was said that: "Oh Noah! Descend with blessings and a selam for you and for other communities who are with you! There are some communities, We will give them blessings first, and then a sorrowful torment from us shall embrace them all."
Here, these are among the invisible news, which we are revealing to you. Before now, neither you nor your community knew them. From now on, be patient! The result belongs to the ones who embrace devotion.
